1st Haircuts

The shaggy hair is all gone.

Here is my new hair do.

Aunt Kim and Rylee.

Aunt Kayla and Jordan.

This is no fun dad! Make them stop please.

Before pic

Rylee and her baby pig tail.

Thanks to Aunt Kim and Aunt Kayla the girls got their 1st haircuts today in the comfort of their own home. This really didn't make any difference and they are not thrilled with getting their hair cut. Rylee started getting sick yesterday and she still isn't feeling too well. She has a cough and has to be suctioned alot more than normal. We didn't have any nursing last night so we tried putting her in bed with us and that didn't help us get any sleep. She still had to be suctioned alot and tossed and turned all over the bed. It was really nice having her right by us so she could cuddle, but we probably won't be trying this again anytime soon. We are not sure if we will have a nurse tonight as our regular night nurse has some sick kids at home. Rylee has a scheduled appointment on Wednesday at CMH for a routine check up in the special care clinic. I am anxious to see how much she weighs and how long she is. It doesn't seem like the girls are growing too much lately. They have been wearing 9 month clothes since October and I am so ready to get those out of the dresser and get them into their 12 month clothes. They got their synagis (RSV) vaccines on Thursday and I was told Jordan had some words with our day nurse as she helped give the injections. We are hopeful that Rylee's cold will pass soon and she doesn't get too sick. We have only had to take Jordan in once for an ear infection and Rylee hasn't had to go in for a sick visit since she has been home so we want to keep it that way. It is pretty amazing that they have stayed so healthy considering that they have been home for almost a year.

14 Months/ 10 1/2 Adjusted Months

Have you noticed Ry is quite the poser?

Look how big I am getting. Still scrawny legs though.

Maddie thinking get me out of here away from those babies.

Jordan Grace you are in so much trouble!

She has a piggy tail.

I can't believe the girls turned 14 months yesterday. They are 10 1/2 months adjusted for their developmental age. Jordan took a step or two yesterday. She can stand pretty good on her own, but doesn't like to if she can avoid it. I can't believe this girl is going to be walking soon. Rylee is doing very good with walking around things and she can even stand for a very brief period too. Rylee is eating very good and still only takes and ounce or two of yogurt juice. We have to do the rest of her formula feeding with her g-tube. It is getting harder and harder trying to keep her still when her feeding is running. She sometimes gets shorted as she just wants to be on the go too much. Troy finished his basketball season yesterday 15-1. He was pretty bummed that they lost a game in the tournament. This is the same team that he had to stop coaching last year when the girls were born and they went on to an undefeated season.

Happy Valentine's Day

Yes, I know I am a day late with an update. I haven't really lost my mind yet. I had an update yesterday, but erased it on accident and then didn't get time to re-post. I won't have any pictures until tomorrow as my computer won't read my new memory card. I am hoping I can take it someplace and burn it to a CD. We had some pretty good pictures so hopefully I can get these posted. We had a good weekend and were lucky to get our night nurse to come three hours early so we could go to dinner last night. Unfortunately she is sick tonight and we don't have any coverage. I am not sure how this is going to work since we both have to work tomorrow. We might be exhausted by tomorrow. Tiny K will be here on Wednesday and are planning on video taping the girls eating to use for a presentation. I hope I didn't worry anyone with no post yesterday. Have a great week.

Early update

Happy as can be.

It is really hard getting a picture with the both of them looking at the
camera.

Our fix it girl. Mickey needed a little help.

These are the only two teeth Jordan has so she is showing them off.

Guess who picked out these shirts?

A little windy for Rylee.

Our sleeping beauty.

Ahhh....how sweet

Not much going in in the Webb household. Troy is going to a superbowl party tomorrow so I won't have much time to update tomorrow. We have just been hanging out enjoying our girls. They are so much fun to be around and bring so much joy to our family. Rylee has amazed us with her recent developments. She is walking around things and even goes from one thing to another. We had Tiny K here on Wednesday and they were very impressed with both girls. We are going to be working really hard at getting them on all table foods and hopefully they will start taking a sippy cup soon. Jordan is doing much better with her sleeping and went to bed tonight at 5:30 p.m. She has learned how to ride her little horse and make it all around the house. She can even turn corners and acts like she knows what she is doing. It is really cute watching the girls learn new things. We are on our own tonight with Rylee as we don't have coverage on Saturday nights. Last week Troy stayed up until 5:30 a.m. with her so I could sleep. We are so looking forward to the day that she doesn't need the trach. I talked with the ENT nurse this week and it looks like the doctor has the operating room on 5/19 and 5/26 so hopefully her surgery will get planned for one of those days.
