Weekly update

I think it is time for the bumper pad!

This is what a little Miralax will do to a baby!!!!!!!!!

As you can tell I am not doing a very good job of keeping this blog up to date more than once a week. Tiny K was here on Tuesday and they still have us working with Rylee and her oral stimulation. We are now just putting milk in a syringe and then putting drops in her mouth while she sucks on her pacifier. She doesn't seem to mind too much. In a couple weeks they are coming back and may try both girls with some cereal. Rylee had two appointments on Wednesday at CMH. We left the house at 7:30 a.m. and didn't get home until 5:00 p.m. and she handled it like a champ. We met with the ENT doctor that performed her trach surgery. Our goal is to keep her healthy over the winter months and then they may do a bronch this spring. She has several things that she has to be able to tolerate before they would consider removing her trach. We are still hoping and praying that she can get this removed next summer. The doctor did a flexible bronch in the office while we were there and she didn't see any concerns at this time. Rylee was once again called a "fatty" by her doctor. This poor girl is just healthy looking to me : ). Her special care doctor doesn't want us to increase her feedings because she needs to be growing in length more before she can have more food. The doctor was very impressed with how well Rylee is doing on her tummy and she reminded me that Rylee was one sick little girl when we were in the NICU. She was very impressed with her strength. We don't have to go see these doctors again until October. Troy has one more week left of summer break and then the nanny will be here to look after Jordan. Jordan has a hearing test on Tuesday at CMH and we hoping and praying that all goes well with that. I will post some updated pics tonight.
